Winner Selection Process

People are sometimes concerned that prizes at trade show drawings are actually awarded to show attendees, and that the selection process is appropriately random. Our award process is quite simple.

Within three weeks of the last day of a show, we assemble all electronic leads, business cards and manually completed information request forms obtained at a Trade Show into a single list. Duplications are removed and the final list is then randomly sorted. All names are assigned a number (1-n) and the numbers are then mixed in a box from which two numbers are manually selected, then matched to their name. The first name selected is the winner and the second is the backup. We select a backup in case the winner is not permitted to receive prizes (as is usually the case for news media or Government employees). The winner is advised by phone, they select their prize, the prize is purchased and drop shipped to them directly. If the winner is permitted to accept prizes, then the backup name does not receive a prize.

All winners must agree to allow their names to be posted on our web site as a public announcement that prizes were actually awarded. No fees, product endorsements, commitments to purchase products, shipping charges, or costs of any kind are incurred by prize winners, or their organizations.

Employees or family of employees of CSI, the WeatherHawk Division of CSI, or any CSI subsidiary or affilate company are prohibited from entering a WeatherHawk prize drawing, or receiving a prize, either directly or indirectly.
