BP2-EX External Battery Kit

The BP2-EX is a primary power source for any WeatherHawk Signature Series weather station in regions that experience sub-freezing temperatures and low winter sun angles or short solar days. The BP2-EX consists of a weatherproof enclosure containing a 7 AHr lead-acid gelcel battery pack. It is supplied with installation instructions and all necessary connecting cables. The BP2-EX is typically installed with an SP-2 five watt solar panel on the weather station mast. This product is usually purchased with a new WeatherHawk system but may be retrofitted at either the factory or a WeatherHawk Service Center.
