This WeatherHawk weather station has been on-line for over two years reporting the weather from the beautiful Cache Valley in Northern Utah. Cache Valley is known for its year-round recreational activities and picturesque mountains, which are snowcapped in winter. The weather station is located a few hundred feet from the engineering and manufacturing complex, which is located between the mountains of the Cache National Forest to the East and the Wellsville Mountains to the West. The NetCam, mounted on the roof of the building is pointed at the 10,000 foot Wellsville mountains and the image is automatically updated every minute. The software is Virtual Weather Station, with the optional Weather Flash graphical display plug-in.

The WeatherHawk is on top of the Mountain Pine Ridge at 3,100 feet (951 meters). It is a communication site operated by Belize Communication and Security (BCSL) that is powered only by alternative energy (wind,solar and batteries). The system connects to the BCSL proprietary high speed wireless network, which is twenty miles away. In addition to the "real time" WeatherHawk connection, the system also provides a connection for security cameras and data sensors for remote monitoring of the unattended site.
